Karin Capponi, a true angel who loved and was loved by everyone she touched, passed away on June 7, 2013, at her home in Aloha. She was born into this world on December 26, 1958, in Spokane, Washington, to Donald and Barbara Smith. Karin married on September 13, 1980, to her best friend and the love of her life, Don Capponi, enjoying 38 years together.
She is survived by her husband, Don Capponi; daughter, Maria Capponi-Urzua; sons Jeffrey and Joseph Capponi; son in-law, Pedro Urzu;, her only grandchild, Cailin Urzua; father, Don Smith of Aloha; sisters, Karla Burns and Deborah Dittamore; brother, Steven Smith. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Smith.
Viewing will be from 4-7pm on Wednesday, June 12th at Springer and Son Aloha Funeral Home. A Memorial service will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Beaverton, at 11am on Thursday, June 13th. Karin will be laid to rest at Skyline Memorial Gardens.
