Delores or, as everyone knew her, Dee, was born to Richard and Magadalena Warnke July 16, 1932 in Cokato, MN. Dee was baptized as a baby at St James Lutheran Church in Howard Lake, MN. In 1942 at the age of 10, along with her brother Donald and parents, moved to Coeur d’ Alene, ID. In 1945 the family moved to Spokane, WA where Dee graduated from North Central High School. While attending a Sunday service at St John’s Lutheran Church she noticed a handsome airman stationed at Fairchild Air Force base. Marriage followed in 1952 to Lorin Wollmuth. Son Gregory was born in 1953, and in 1955 the young family moved to North Dakota to farm at a place not far from the original Wollmuth family homestead. Another son, Duane, was born in 1955 and daughter Rhonda followed in 1958. After a drought in 1961 ended the farming experience the family moved in 1962 to Beaverton, OR. For many years, until retirement, Dee worked at J Thayer Co. in Beaverton, a gift and office supply store. Dee and Lorin for years were very active for their church, teaching Sunday school, serving on committees, participating in Ladies Aid, Alter Guild and helping with grounds maintenance. Delores’s talents for cooking and decorating were greatly appreciated and admired by many as mentioned in the many condolence notes received. During retirement Delores and Lorin were able to enjoy many fun trips to several locations in the United States and a trip to Europe. Delores is survived by son Gregory (wife Donna), daughter Rhonda (husband Tom) and grandchildren Christine, Sean and Mollie. Son Duane (wife Mary) and husband Lorin preceded Delores in death.
