Our Beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away at the age of 80

Gary E. Gattucio
Date Of Birth: 05/28/1941
Date of Death: 04/28/2022

Gary leaves his wife of 62 years, Frances, along with their children, Susan Bitz, Christy Bettinelli (Jeff) and son John (Krista). His daughter Cindy Lambe (Fred) proceeded him in death seven years ago.

Gary had 6 cherished grandchildren, Cameron, Taylor, Brandon, Ricky, Erick and Kaitlin.

He also had a sister, Cheryl Manassero (Joe) and a brother, Gale who died in 2005.

His grandson calls him a “Legend.” He never missed their football or baseball games and could be seen riding his scooter back and forth on the field, cheering them on.

Over the years, Gary fought a brave battle through the increased challenges of Multiple Sclerosis.

Gary loved his family and his dog, Gracie. He daily commented on how much he appreciated his home. He found comfort in the simplest of things and will be so greatly missed. Yet, we know that Cindy took her Daddy by the hand on his way to heaven and that brings us great comfort.

A Funeral Mass for Gary will be held at 1:00, May 21,2022 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Tigard, Oregon.

A reception will follow at the Church’s O’Reilly Hall.

Gary was a very kind and gentle natured person. Always easy to be with and talk to. It was obvious that he was a good husband, father, grandfather and friend to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace with Cindy by his side.

    Prayerfully,

    Wendy
