Ryan Gilbert Watkins
Date Of Birth: 12/14/1971
Date of Death: 12/28/2021

Covid-19 took his life in just two weeks. And, thanks to covid he died alone.
Born in Tulare, CA to Richard and Judy (Revels) Watkins. He, brother, and mom and dad moved to Redmond, OR when Ryan was in the second grade.
Attended elementary and high school in Redmond and received his GED at Central Oregon Community College. He spent his growing up years bike racing, karate, bow shooting, and love, love, loved Star Wars. He was also a lifelong gamer.
Ryan loved cats. There were others but Ferguson (Fergi) was his furry buddy for over 20 years.
Like his grandfather he too had a gift for creating beautiful pieces of furniture out of wood. Without a pattern he built large and small corner cabinets, a rocking chair, shelves, and toilet paper holders. If we could name it he could build it. And a perfectionist at refinishing furniture as well.
He was employed in Tigard, OR as a warehouseman at the time of his death.
He is survived by his parents, his daughter Tracyann, his brother Kirk (and wife Lysa), niece Samantha (husband Cam), great nieces Dally and Harper, and great nephew Rhett. And his Uncle Dale and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his son Camron as well as both sets of grandparents.

Ryan, you were the kindest friend since the day we met in 3rd grade.our paths took us down different roads after school, but when we ran into each other again, after years, you were still that same kind friend I had grown up with. You made me a ‘bed’ stool that I needed, to be able to get up on my very tall bed. I am still using that same stool, today! I will always have a smile on my face, when I think of you and the times we shared. My heart hurts deeply, for your family. Rest in peace my friend.

Ryan was a Mans Man. He was rough on the edges but he always was looking out for those that were around him. Knowing Ryan made me a better person. I hope he knows the positive influence he had on our lives. Rest in peace my friend. We will meet again.
