Adrienne Sarnecki Masin

Adrienne Sarnecki Masin
Date Of Birth: 02/02/1947
Date of Death: 04/08/2021

Adrienne was born February 2, 1947, in East Chicago, Indiana, to John and Lillian Sarnecki, and lived most of her adult life in California and Oregon after graduating from East Chicago Roosevelt High School in 1965. On April 8, 2021, within ten minutes of arriving home in Beaverton from another stay at the hospital, Adrienne peacefully took her last breath. Relatives surviving Adrienne include her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Christi Masin of Beaverton, siblings John (and his wife Lynda), Marlene, and Ronald in the Midwest, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Adrienne was a gifted artist of various mediums, generous with sharing her talent, and humble about acknowledging it. Her Halloween parties for her favorite holiday were legendary because of the jaw-dropping decorations she created. And as for Adrienne’s poker prowess, she was the only female poker player in the large Sarnecki family, always crediting her dad and his seven brothers for being great teachers. When it came to baseball, the former Midwesterner’s loyalty to her beloved Chicago Cubs was unshakeable. So resolute was she, Adrienne requested that an urn emblazoned with the Cubs logo be her final resting place on Earth.

Add Adrienne’s robust and plentiful laughter, and unwavering kindness to the mix of who she was, and you’ll know why the world is brighter because she lived.
